Terms of Sale: AI assistant setup

Gotts Consultancy Ltd. Version 2 (draft), 19 October 2026.

DRAFT. Not legal advice. A solicitor should review these terms before launch. Words in [square brackets] are for Alex to confirm before use.

These terms cover the DIY Kit, the Fix-It Hour, setups (With me on Teams, At your office, Office teams) and the Care Lite, Care and Care Plus subscriptions. Please read them before you pay. Keep a copy.

In short: we set up and teach. You stay in charge of your accounts, your data and every action your assistant takes. AI can make mistakes, so check anything before you send it or act on it.

3. Your right to cancel (if you are a consumer)

The law gives consumers 14 days to change their mind about things bought online, by phone or away from our office (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013). If you buy for your business, the law may not give you this right. We give business buyers the same cancellation terms anyway.

What you bought Your 14 days start What happens if you start early
DIY Kit (download) The day you buy We only send the download if you ask for it straight away and agree you lose your right to cancel once the download starts. After that, you cannot cancel. Your other legal rights (section 6) still apply.
Help session or setup The day we agree the booking If you ask us to start within the 14 days and then cancel, you pay for the part we have already done. Once the work is fully done, you cannot cancel.
Care plan The day the plan starts If you cancel within 14 days, you pay only for the days used. After that, see section 8.

How to cancel: email alex@gottsconsultancy.com and say you want to cancel. You can use the form in Schedule B, but you do not have to.

Refunds: we refund you within 14 days of you telling us, using the same way you paid, with no fee.

4. What you tick or agree before you pay

DIY Kit (at checkout):

☐ I want to download the DIY Kit now. I understand that once the download starts, I lose my 14-day right to cancel.

Help sessions and setups booked to happen within 14 days:

☐ I ask you to start within the 14-day cancellation period. I understand that if I cancel, I must pay for what you have already done, and that once the work is fully done I lose my right to cancel.

We confirm your order, and what you agreed, by email.

Face-to-face sales: if you agree a setup with us in person at your office, we give you these terms and the booking request on paper or by email (a "durable medium") before we start.

5. Our promises (extra to your legal rights)

These promises are extra. They do not replace or reduce your legal rights.

Promise What you need to do What we do
Morning Brief Promise (DIY Kit) Follow the 7 steps in Start Here with a SuperGrok plan that includes Grok Bot (not Lite). If your morning brief still is not arriving, email your ticked checklist within 30 days of buying. We try to fix it on a free 30-minute Teams call. If we cannot get it working, we refund the kit price in full within 14 days of agreeing the refund.
Help sessions Tell us the problem when you book. If we cannot fix that problem in the session, we refund the session in full.
Teams and Face-to-Face Setup Keep your accounts and tools paid and connected. If your morning brief is not working by the end of the next working day after setup, we come back free (on Teams or in person) until it works.

The promises do not cover money you pay to other companies, or problems caused by their services being down or changed.

6. Your legal rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

If they are not, you may be entitled to a repair, a redo, a price cut or a refund. For more, see citizensadvice.org.uk. Nothing in these terms takes away your legal rights.

If this happens, we tell you as soon as we can and offer a new date. If we cannot provide what you paid for, we refund you for that part.

16. Misuse

Please do not use the kit, our setups or your assistant to break the law or anyone's rights. For example: sending marketing without permission, using people's data without a lawful reason, watching staff behind their backs, or breaking a tool provider's terms.

If you buy for your business: you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs (including reasonable legal costs) if someone else makes a claim against us because of your misuse. This does not apply to loss we caused.

17. Complaints
